Free Webinar
Urban Farm U is one of our affiliate partners. We like them because they offer a lot of resources on healthy food sourcing and self sustainability which we are all about at DCI! If you are interested in learning how to garden the healthy way, this FREE webinar is for you!
Here’s a description straight from Urban Farm U:
Are you gardening the healthy way? At my age, I am beginning to see my friends and the people around me fall ill with health problems. Can you relate? The problem is, most of us don’t know where our food comes from, or how much we’re really exposed to pesticides and GMOs. Scientists at The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention found that 90 percent of Americans have pesticides or their byproducts in their bodies. How crazy is that? Personally, I believe that nobody should have to unknowingly be exposed to pesticides and GMOs. If you feel frustrated about this and want to protect your health and the health of your family, here’s what you can do: I’ve teamed up with my friend and Urban Farm U faculty member Bill McDorman to offer a free webinar that will empower you to know where your food comes from. You’ll learn who owns our seeds, and why saving seeds is your next step to support a vibrant, healthy, and peaceful life.
At the end, Bill will tell you exactly what you need to do to start saving seeds and take control of your food and health. Bill has helped over a thousand students do exactly this, and he will help you too.
This webinar is free and will ONLY be offered once, so you’ll want to take advantage of this.
Join us on Tuesday, October 8th at 6pm Pacific to learn where your seeds come from, plus how you can “level up” your garden to produce more nutritious food for feeling healthy and vibrant, and have peace of mind knowing what’s going in your body.
